TDAA National Agility Championship Title

By TDAA

The Teacup Dogs Agility Association is pleased to announce the establishment of the TDAA National Agility Championship Title (TNAC). This title is conferred upon the dog that achieves the highest overall score in each jump height at the TDAA Petit Prix

This is a unique title in our agility culture as it is a championship earned by excellence in competition; specifically, by an unambiguous win in the national tournament. The effective date for implementation of the TDAA National Agility Championship Title shall be October 28, 2012.

Petit Prix Tournament Format
The TDAA national tournament is called the Petit Prix. In this three day tournament all dogs will compete on three standard courses and seven games. Throughout the event dogs will earn points for placement against the field. At the end, when the dust settles, dogs with the highest scores in each jump height will be deemed our National Champions.

Two regional Petit Prix tournaments are scheduled in 2012:

October 26–28, 2012
Hosted by B&D Creekside; Splash ‘n Dash K9 Sports; & Keystone Canine Training Club
B & D Creekside Activity Center
Latrobe, PA
Judges: Deb Auer (IL), John Finley (OH)
Contact: Janice Reynolds ~ arcmasterjanice@comcast.net

November 2–4, 2012
Hosted by Small Paws Over Texas (SPOT)
J. S. Bridwell Ag Center
Wichita Falls, TX
Judges: Deb Auer (IL), Wayne Van Deusen (WI)
Contact: Kim Brewer ~ tantantanner@yahoo.com

Premiums and Petit Prix Tournament Rules are available for download on our calendar at: http://tdaanews.wordpress.com/tdaa-events-calendar/

All dogs, without regard to competition level, or titles earned, shall compete on the same courses. All games and courses are eligible for dogs to earn qualifying legs towards TDAA titles.

All dogs must be registered with the TDAA in order to compete.
