If you want to use Susan Garrett's 2x2 weave pole training method, you will need a minimum of 3 sets of 2x2 weave poles, for a total of 6 poles. Susan recommends that the bases have holes in them so that they can be staked to the ground and also that they have "tails" on the ends so that you can easily line them up.

These 2x2 bases are made from 3/16" thick steel and are painted using a powder-coating process. Both the middle of the base and the crosspieces are 3" wide. The middle piece has a sand coating applied to keep dogs from slipping if they step on the base. The bases can be connected together to create a set of 6 regulation weave poles. If you buy additional 2x2s, you can also add them to create a set of 8, 10, or 12 poles.

Pole spacing is 24" (measured center to center). The poles are made from Schedule 40 furniture-grade PVC. They are 1.125" in diameter and 40" long, and are white with a band of colored tape. You can select the color of the tape.
