Osteoarthritis, degenerative joint disease, and arthritis are all words used to describe a chronic, degenerative disease that is caused by the progressive inflammation and deterioration of the cartilage, bone, and soft tissue of one or more joints, causing pain and decreased flexibility in the joint(s).

Arthritis pain slows down 1 out of every 4 adult dogs and even more senior dogs. It can be heartbreaking to see your once lively best friend in pain and unable to enjoy his usual activities. Unfortunately, there is no cure for osteoarthritis, but with the right treatment and management program, there is a great deal you and your veterinarian can do to decrease your dog's discomfort and get him moving again. Osteoarthritis doesn't have to be the end of living life to the fullest.

The Osteoarthritis and Your Dog DVD will not only help you understand the disease and your options for a multi-modal treatment program, but it will also show you exactly what you can do for your dog to help him lead a healthier, happier life.
