Gluten-free, grain-free, and, in this case, even meat-free. Preference base mix is an antioxidant-rich selection of fruits and veggies that takes away the prep work that comes with home cooking, and it's a great choice for dealing with multiple meat sensitivities because you get to pick the perfect protein for your pup.

Preference is made with 100% human food-grade ingredients (no animal-feed-grade ingredients are used) in a USDA-inspected facility. When you rehydrate Honest Kitchen pet foods with pure warm water, the color, taste, texture, and smell closely resembles fresh foods. They know, because they taste-test everything they make! Preference is minimally processed to preserve the natural nutrients present; the food undergoes no high heat processing or extrusion, and is therefore a highly concentrated source of natural nutrition. One cup of dehydrated food hydrates to make about 1 lb. of fresh food. The shelf-life of this product prior to re-hydration is approximately 12 months.

Feeding Instructions

One cup dehydrated food = 1 lb. of fresh food. Each cup of dehydrated food should be re-hydrated with pure, warm, filtered, or tap water in the amount directed on the package. Add the water to the food and stir well. The product will initially resemble soup. Let stand for 10 minutes minimum so the ingredients rehydrate sufficiently. Stir again and serve. Any leftovers should be refrigerated or discarded.
