The Doggone Good Flying Treat Tug flies with accuracy, holds up to strong tuggers, and includes a treat-dispensing pocket on the underside for the ultimate in motivational training games. The soft-touch web handles have rubber tubing inside for comfort for your hands during tug games and so that the toy will float for water-retrieving games.

This Frisbee will quickly become one of your dog's favorites!

Folds to fit in a pocket. An excellent release toy.

Size is 8" in diameter.

Note: Food-stuffable toys are intended to be interactive toys that are always used in supervised play and training. Because your dog will desperately want to eat what's inside, these toys should never be left unattended with the dog.

My new go to for encouraging interest in discs!
The only reason I haven't rated this a 5 is because we haven't tried it water! I love this! Doggone has nailed the concept. Easy for dogs to pick up on any surface, including flat surfaces, to reduce any type of discouragement about the disc. Very sturdy velcro for pocket, decent sized pocket, encourages return for human help with food dispensing. Flies like a fabric frisbee. Bonus with some tug play as another reinforcer (I don't want to damage edges yet since I do want to try this in water.) This convinced a 6 year old Golden with a beautiful retrieve to hand (taught by clicker), who loves the flirt pole, who will do active search and retrieves of scented items all day, but has zero interest in actual thrown objects, to play frisbee right out of the gate. Lotus ball was a total bust with her, when it has worked with others. She can't wait for me to open the velcro pocket and let her eat out of the disc and is raring to go again. I really wish I had found this sooner. Mainly to encourage jumping into water, but to be able to play short, joint friendly, frisbee sessions a few times a week for variety when I don't have time to set up hides, and have another reinforcer to use for training.

my dog loves it!
This is a really well constructed toy that will last me and my dog a long time! He doesn't have a super hard bite but the material/stitching will hold up to tugging and being thrown around. It is sturdy enough to be thrown like an actual frisbee and I love the treat pouch. Regular toys aren't reinforcing enough to my dog as primary reinforcers but I can fill this pouch with treats and I hope to transfer enough value to the toy so that it can become a primary reinforcer. I put treats in the pouch, cue behaviors and my dog's arousal level stays high as I reward him by throwing the frisbee and he eagerly brings it back to get a little jackpot inside :) Before this though, I've trained a retrieve separately and am working on building tug drive. My dog still loves to tug on this toy and he can keep a better grip on the ring than a more slippery faux fur as he doesn't have a super strong bite. This has been a great training toy!

Perfect
DANG! I lost another one, if only they would follow me home. I keep buying new ones. I had a dog with zero interest in toy, play or tug. Now he loves to train & play with me. I can phase out the treat, but he also loves the thrill of chasing his food down, helps a shy dog get pushy, & we can actually get a good rowdy game on. Perfect toy for a dog that can't otherwise be enticed into play. A literal game-changer. Oh, & it rolls across the ground for a good chase.
