Not only will this cooling vest help keep your dog cool, it will keep him DRY while it's working! Instead of wetting the vest with water again and again, water is stored inside the coat. We were initially worried that this would make the vest heavy for the dog to wear, but it's such a small amount of water (13 oz.) that it's not a problem at all.
After you activate the vest by filling it with 13 oz. of fresh water, it will immediately start cooling up to 15°C / 59°F below ambient air temperature for one to three days, depending on humidity and airflow. Thanks to the patented dry evaporation system, the cooling vest will never become wet or damp during use.
Although the canine vest is new, this is a proven technology. Suitical has already been selling a DRY cooling vest for humans that is used by the military, construction workers, rescue workers, and other people who work outdoors in the heat.
No refrigeration, gels, or chemicals are required.
Antibacterial, machine washable, and easy to clean.

How to Measure Your Dog: To fit your dog for a Suitical DRY Cooling Vest, you need to determine his back measurement and his chest/girth measurement. Be sure that your dog is standing squarely, with head up, and is looking straight ahead:
- The chest/girth measurement is taken from the widest part of the dog's chest, just behind the forelegs. Breeds with long and thick fur need more room for the chest than dogs with short fur. This is the most important measurement for sizing this vest.
- The neckline measurement is taken from the widest part of the dog’s neck; that is, from the base of the neck. The neckline of the coat may be larger than the dog's actual neck measurement.
