A boy problem

The sizing is a no-go for my long, lean male dog. Although the 56 is a perfect length on his back, the belly panel sags on his 25” chest, so he urinates directly into the coat, making it both unusable for him and unreturnable. The 56 is adequate for my equally long but deeper-chested guy, but the belly panel is still quite far back near the “splash zone.” Also, it’s very difficult to get the coat on and off (despite following the video instructions) and for my BC, it sits on the shoulders in a way that restricts movement. It keeps his arthritic hips warm better than other options, but otherwise it falls short of expectations for a premium product.

We're sorry that you had trouble with fitting your dog. Did you send us photos of the dogs in the coat so that we could make sure that it is fitting the back correctly? Sometimes it's necessary to select a size that's a little shorter on the back. We are happy to help people find the correct size. It sounds like the size might be too small for your BC, but without a photo, it's hard for us to diagnose the problem. This is one of our most popular selling coats and we generally find the correct fit for most dogs.
