Our Floppy Fringy Bungee Tug is made with soft and fringy microfiber mop material that soft-mouthed dogs love! The nylon handle goes all the way through the microfiber to the end of the toy and is lined with fleece. This is a great toy for gentle tuggers and puppies.
The mop bite area is long (15.5"L x 2.5"W) so there's plenty for your dog to grab onto and the handle is 9", making the toy a total of 24.5" in length.
Assorted color combinations of webbing, handle lining, and mop material; please allow us to choose for you.
You can machine wash your toy in water that is less than 86°. Line dry.

Tore open within five seconds. I wasn't even working my dog with this, just planned to introduce it to her real quick and see how the bungee felt in my hands. I gave my dog the command to bite it, let her tug twice while I held by the handle, then gave her the command to release. The entire process took no more than 5 seconds. When I looked down at the toy, there was a 1-1.5 inch tear in the material, right where my girl had been holding. Now, maybe in this 5 second experience she managed to get it with her tooth JUST right... but if this toy can't handle two gentle testing tugs, how on earth is it going to last as a reward during training, when she's in drive? Complete disappointment.
That said, it /is/ soft to the touch like it claims to be, and it's certainly a material lots of dogs will enjoy... but that's all besides the point if you can't even use it as a tug. Save yourself the money. Steer clear of this!

We're sorry that you had a bad experience with the toy. The "fringey" material that this toy and other toys use is not particularly durable. It's really designed to entice a soft-mouthed dog, a puppy, or a reluctant tugger to tug (we mention that on the website). It's not designed for the dog that already loves to tug because it's easy for a tooth to get caught in the material and make small tears. We're happy to give you a refund for the toy.
