The Hurtta 7-Pocket Houndtex Dog Training Vest is the ultimate training garment for any dog sport trainer. Houndtex is a laminated technical fabric that is highly water-resistant and breathable. With a lightweight mesh lining, this vest has a close-fitting waist and a high collar, both of which are adjustable. The vest also has a hood that folds down inside the collar.

A big pocket across the entire width of the back provides storage space for larger motivational toys and accessories. The 2 chest pockets are zippered and one has an opening for feeding through your phone or iPod ear buds. There are 2 generous side pockets as well as 2 zippered pockets on top of those pockets for storing valuables. One of these zippered pockets contains a detachable, washable bag for messy treats. All pockets are lined in case you're storing wet toys. There are also rings on the vest (one of the back and one on the side) and a carabiner clip (front) for attaching various accessories.

This vest is Great
Whoever designed this, know dog folks. Great comfort and all the pocket keep you hands-free. I ware it everywhere. The design with a reflective shoulder and back is a great safety feature. Not so doggie I can't wear it anywhere. I am asked often where I got it!! Most are surprised it a training vest. Men love it too!

The thing I didn't know I needed
My best friend sent this vest to me as a gift. When I opened the package I thought, "Hmmmmm - what a nice thought, but I really don't see myself using this." After checking out all the features, I quickly changed my mind. I absolutely LOVE this vest. No more carting around a backpack or tote bag full of training gear. EVERYTHING I need fits in the vest. The only issue I have is that it smells very strange to me. I've washed it a few times, and the odd odor is decreasing. The vest is fantastic. I'm still giving it 5 stars, because I received such a great response from Clean Run regarding the odor.

Worth Every Penny!
Is it possible to be in love with a vest? YES! A friend gave me this vest in exchange for a favor and I specifically asked for it. I'd seen someone wearing one and I thought it looked really nice. After wear it a few times, I discovered how brilliantly designed it is: so many pockets: lined, zippered, hidden, big and small. It's the perfect way to keep organized while training and I feel like I have a wearable filing cabinet for all the gear I might need. It's the best windbreaker, incredibly warm yet breathable and even has a hidden hood. Plus, it looks incredibly neat and stylish. I would have paid 3 times the cost if I hadn't received this as a gift—it's that great!
