My Awesome Puppy - 8-Week Online Course, Standard Registration

My Awesome Puppy - 8-Week Online Course, Standard Registration

First Day of Course: December 7, 2020
Course Length: 8 weeks

There is so much involved in raising a puppy to become our agility partner and teammate, but it doesn’t have to be difficult or unattainable if you have a training "MAP." Jubie's "My Awesome Puppy" training program provides you with a complete plan for starting your 8-week-old puppy with the essential behaviors and strategically building skills as your puppy develops into a 6-month-old adolescent puppy athlete. It includes agility training that is age-specific.

The program was designed to enhance your puppy's learning capabilities and expand your training opportunities. The behaviors build on one another because they are trained in an understandable order. You'll learn how to recognize potential training problems and when to move forward with every behavior. As a bonus, you will have the best time creating an unbeatable bond with your very special puppy!

Jubie brings a great deal of knowledge to the program besides agility training experience. As a certified dog behavior consultant and trainer, and a certified service dog trainer, she understands the life skills that are necessary for creating a well-adjusted puppy that can cope with the highly charged agility competition environment as well as a balanced puppy that has drive with self-control.

NOTE: If you would like to be able to submit videos of your dog working on the homework as well as ask specific questions about your dog and his progress, you should sign up for the Premier registration.

What is included with your Standard registration?

  • 8 weeks of written lectures and video instruction
  • Access to all course materials on both mobile devices and your computer
  • Downloadable content for off-line access when you're out training
  • Ability to ask questions, participate in discussions, and watch all posted videos
  • Keep what you buy—No expiring content; after the course ends, you won't be able to ask questions, but the content is still available to you

NOTE: If you would like to be able to submit videos of your dog working on the homework exercises for the instructor to evaluate, you should sign up for the Premier registration.

No skills are necessary. Puppies can start as early as 8 weeks old.

Equipment and space needed

  • Toys and food. As the course progresses, a tunnel, jump uprights, and cones would be helpful, but we can improvise as necessary.
  • The initial training can be done inside, but for later lessons, you'll need a 40 ft. x 40 ft. area

"This is an outstanding training program. The variety of training exercises keeps the puppy interested and excited to train. The course not only teaches the puppy valuable skills but it also helps build the relationship with the puppy. The encouragement and support I received was above and beyond what I expected. I would recommend this course in a heart beat." —Susan C.

"This is an amazing training program to give your pup the best start in life. I have completed it with 2 of my pups. The instructor gives great feedback to help you and your pup. I wish I could give it 10 stars! I highly recommend it." —Mary G.

"The class was just absolutely beyond awesome. The methodical way that you lay out your material coupled with the videos is absolutely priceless. Cassie really looked forward to our lessons and I felt confident that I had a good plan as to exactly what to teach her at her age. She is definitely further along than any other puppy I have had." —Mary Ann K.

"This was a great class and I'm really glad we did it. Really appreciated the honest feedback and really glad we have been able to work on and start developing some of these crucial life and agility skills."  —Laura

"I highly recommend! I have trained under Jubie for several years. She is an amazing instructor and trainer. She trained my Darby using her MAP program. At under 2 years of age, Darby made the finals in Steeplechase (the only event she competed in) at the Wild West Regionals this past March."  —James M.

"My puppy Bindi and I took Jubie’s puppy class and it was enriching and fun. Bindi was my first high drive Border Collie and Jubie gave me so many tips and pointers to create a well rounded puppy." —Diane S.

"I thought the course was great. We are still working our way through it. I've trained a lot of dogs, but this course gave me a bit of an 'anchor' for proceeding. The videos taught me some new approaches. Thanks!"  —Karen B.
