The 2 Towers is an innovative puzzle for dogs that was developed and patented by My Intelligent Pets in Austria. The game can be set from easy (1-paw difficulty level) to very difficult (4 paws) so it can be used with beginner dogs as well as more advanced players.
It features a variety of puzzles your dog has to solve in order to find the hidden rewards. The two towers stand on a pedestal and are linked by a bridge. The towers feature cylinders, "hats," and drawers, and the pedestal contains a trapdoor. There are 8 cylinders, 8 hats, and 6 drawers
This is an interactive game intended to be played together by you and your dog. Intelligence games contribute significantly to ensuring that your dog gets involved in meaningful and appropriate activity that boosts his natural instincts. These games strengthen the relationship between dog and owner, and help alleviate many behavioral problems. It also helps develop your dog's concentration.
Size is 17"W x 8"L x 6"H.
Note: Never let your dog play unsupervised, and intervene if he starts to chew pieces of the game. Regularly check the pieces for any damage. Intelligent Pet games and puzzles are made from certified wood covered with water-based varnish that is not harmful to humans or animals. Please keep the game dry and free of water exposure, as the wooden pieces may swell otherwise. Use only dry treats for playing. Clean by wiping with a damp cloth, and do not use abrasive cleaners.
Step 1: Hide the treats in a number of places (underneath the hats, cylinders and trapdoor, and/or in the drawers).
Step 2: Encourage your dog to start searching, for instance by showing it where the treat is waiting.
Step 3: The dog can only reach the treat by first moving the cylinders and the hats. If it pulls out the drawers or lifts the trapdoor it may find extra treats as a reward.
Tip: We recommend that you start the game with fewer pieces, as your dog may lose motivation if it is not able to solve the game after a few attempts. Let your dog watch as you hide the treats in the game to stimulate its curiosity. By being patient, showing it how the game works and giving it encouragement, you can ensure your dog will enjoy playing the game with you and will solve the puzzle, boosting its self-confidence.
