There are many skills to practice in agility, but most of us have limited time, space, and equipment. What if you had a go-to sourcebook of nested exercises and short courses ready to go any time you had a moment to practice? What if all you need for that practice is that sourcebook and a 40' x 60' space with 6 jumps, a tunnel, and a short set of weaves?
Ready to Run, Vol. 2 provides exercises and training courses for agility instructors and backyard trainers alike! It takes the time and frustration out of designing setups for classes or practice sessions. By providing multiple training options for the same course layout, it also makes your training more efficient. Instead of spending time moving equipment around, you just need to renumber the obstacles.
You’ll find two sections in the book: short, skill-based exercises and longer course layouts for testing your skills and refining your timing. The format is similar to Ready to Run, Vol. 1, but with a link between exercises and courses that makes it even easier to work on a particular skill.
There are 10 exercise sets, each offering 6 or more training sequences, with 85 different sequences total. These sets focus on skills needed to run agility courses in every organization. You'll work on lead-outs, tunnel skills, weaves, threadles, backsides, and more. In addition, there are 12 small-space course layouts, each with 9 training course options nested within, ranging from beginner-level to very challenging, plus a bonus for a total of 108 courses.
There's so much training you can do without having to move your equipment. Set a course and train for the whole week!
