The SENSE-ible dog harness is made by Softouch Concepts, inventor of the patented front-connection harness. Front-Connection harnesses are more than no-pull harnesses they help solve on-leash problems and enhance companionship. This unique harness system was inspired by concepts from horse training that can help you understand your dog. Both dogs and horses have a similar response to sense of touch. They brace against pressure (touch reflex), which is why dogs brace against collars and pull on leashes. With this restraint-free methods, dogs feel gentle pressure (sensations) like horses feel a rider's leg pressure. Dogs love this no-force approach!
A SENSE-ible harness was designed for guidance—NOT for restraint. The chest strap is designed to slack over the shoulder(s) as you guide your dog forward or to the right or left. This gives your dog shoulder room to step in the direction of your leash. As you move your leash, your dog feels gentle pressure (sensations) behind his front legs and shoulders. This encourages your dog to move with you, without pulling on the leash!
The straps are designed not to cause rubbing, pinching, or squeezing. The chest strap is designed to allow for moving the leash ring up to meet the ring of a collar, providing a utility for clipping a leash to both the harness and a collar. T
he SENSE-ible harness is very easy to put on and take off—there's no need to lift up a dog's legs.

What size harness does your dog need? Click on the Sizing tab above for instructions on how to measure your dog and choose the appropriate size.
How to Measure Your Dog: Using a flexible measuring tape, measure from just behind your dog's front legs all the way around him. You are measuring the circumference of the body just behind the front legs, the girth, like measuring a person for a belt. Select one of the sizes below based on that measurement. We have included the manufacturer's weight ranges, but the girth measurement is the best way to determine the correct size for your dog.

"We have been offering the Sense-ible Harness to our students for the last six months and they love it! It is so helpful for those who need some extra help managing their dogs' on-leash behaviors so they can focus on training rather than struggling to hold on to their dog. This makes the training process more enjoyable for both dog and owner and helps them reach their goals faster. Thank you!" —4Paws University, California
"I had to write and tell you how much I love the Sense-ible Harness for Hogan. Hogan is my Service Dog who was trained with a Halti but did not like it on his nose. I switched to a Sense-ible Harness a few months ago and Hogan and I both love it. Thank you from both of us." —T. Gaston, Washington
"...I can't tell you how pleased I am with the results of your harness. I have two bruising 70+ pound male Boxers named Tyson and "G" which usually made walking quite a chore (and I'm 250 pounds). I received my harness in the mail today and was blown away at the results. Tyson walks with little to no resistance and as proud as a peacock in the noble Boxer trot. I'm so happy with the results because now my wife can take the boys for a walk and I don't feel bad if I'm gone for the night. Thank you very much!" —D. DeLeeuw, Wisconsin
"This harness is phenomenal! Due to excessive pulling, I haven't walked my dogs on-leash for almost a year... and when I did it was only one dog at a time. Now, with the Sense-ible Harness, I can walk both simultaneously—and actually enjoy my walk! I got immediate results without the negative reactions observed when initially using the Halti collar (and it doesn’t look like a muzzle). Thanks for a great product. I can’t say enough good things about it!" —G. Vose, Alaska
