First Day of Course: Whenever you choose!
Course Length: 9 lessons that you can complete at your own pace. There are no fixed deadlines or due dates.
Question & Answer Period: Students may ask the instructors questions until October 1, 2020.
Small Space, Big Distance focuses on foundation agility distance training that you can do in your living room. These foundation skills are great for any agility competitor and their beginner dog.
In this "work at your own pace" course, Amanda and Brenna demonstrate and explain how nine important skills and concepts for distance training can be taught in a small space indoors. These behaviors can then be moved to larger areas and will form the basis of a solid distance training foundation. Examples of material covered include cone work (even if you don't own cones!), targeting, turns away from you, a moving wait, and more.
What's a Self-Study Plus Course?
Self-Study Plus is a concept Clean Run invented to allow students to move at their own pace through material while still having access to instructors to ask questions. The idea is simple: if you have a question about a lesson, type it into the discussion area of the classroom and one of the instructors will answer you within a week. The earlier you buy the course after it opens, the longer you will have access to the instructors. Please note that the instructors will only answer questions about the lesson material and concepts. If you need specific help for your dog, please contact one of the instructors and inquire about private lessons. The instructors will be available to answer questions until October 1, 2020.
