My strong chewer (Dalmatian) played and chewed and within an hour, she chewed off the end and ruined it.

It is NOT intended to be a chew toy, especially for a strong chewer. There are very few toys that will stand up to a strong chewer. We recommend bully sticks, cheeky rolls, and similar products for this type of dog so they can safely exercise their desire to chew.
