International Orders
Where Do We Ship?
We ship packages all over the world with only one exception: we no longer ship to the United Kingdom since Brexit, because the rules were changed to require us to register to collect and then pay VAT.
We cannot ship via the US Postal system to any country that is on the postal system's exclusion list. Currently, that is Afghanistan, Belarus, Bhutan, Brunei Darussalam, Lao People's Democratic Republic, Libya, Mongolia, Russian Federation (due to conflict in the region), South Sudan, Syrian Arab Republic, Timor-Leste, Turkmenistan, Yemen, and North Korea. However, we can ship via the United Parcel Service (UPS) to these countries.
To find out what shipping methods are available to your country and what each one costs, just begin the checkout procedure on the website. After you enter your name and address, a page with available shipping costs and the rate for each is displayed.
How Shipping Rates Are Calculated
- We charge the actual cost of shipping based on the total weight of your order, the size of the box, and the number of boxes required.
- We do not add handling fees.
- Our shopping cart will display the rates for the shipping methods available for your order and ask you to choose one.
- In some cases, only one shipping method is available and that will be the only choice given.
- Shipping rates are listed by service provider (USPS and UPS), not in order of cost.
Shipping Tip: In many cases, it costs the same to ship a 2 lb. package via USPS Priority Mail as it does to ship a 1/4 lb. package—this means that it costs the same amount to ship a clicker as it does a pound of treats. When we are shipping all the way across the country, there is only a $2 or $3 difference between shipping a 1/4 lb. package and a 2 lb. package. Therefore, it is more cost effective to purchase several items that you need rather than one small item. So get the most for your shipping dollars. Although UPS does not have the same sort of base rate, the same concept holds true. UPS rates for large packages are very good, but they are not competitive for smaller packages (that is, under 2 lbs.). So, again, it's more cost effective to purchase several items you need at once.
Customs Fees for Orders
- The shipping rates displayed in the shopping cart for Canada and all other countries do NOT include duties, taxes, processing fees, or brokerage fees that may be charged upon delivery and are required to obtain your order.
- You are responsible for paying any fees assessed upon receipt of your package.
- We will list the replacement value of your order on the customs forms.
- We cannot mark orders as "gifts" on the customs forms.
- We do not issue any refunds for shipping or the cost of your order if you refuse to pay the customs fees required in order to receive your package.
- Not all items will have duty and/or taxes applied; in fact, some items may not be charged at all, regardless of value. But please realize that you could be charged and these fees must be paid to your post office before you can get your package. Clean Run does not know if you will be charged, or how much. Please contact your local customs office if you need to know more.
Multiple Orders to the Same Address
Please be aware that if you place separate orders in an attempt to save on duties and taxes, we must combine those orders and ship them as one order with a combined value.
Shipping Restrictions
Items that cannot be shipped outside of the USA are noted on the product information page.
What Shipping Methods Are Available to Canada?
For most addresses, you can choose either USPS (US Postal Service) or UPS (United Parcel Service). UPS service is faster, but much more expensive.
- USPS Priority Mail International: Delivery time is not guaranteed by the postal service. Package cannot be tracked while in transit; only its delivery can be confirmed. Although it is not the norm, it is possible for a package to be held in customs upon arrival, resulting in significant delays (up to 45 days). Because your package cannot be tracked in transit, the postal service does not assume the package to be lost, and therefore eligible for replacement, for at least 45 days. USPS shipping rates displayed in our store do not include duties, taxes, or fees; you will be responsible for any fees due when your package arrives.
- USPS First Class Mail International: This method is only available for packages weighing up to 4 lbs. Delivery varies based on destination. No tracking available. Note that the package may be held in customs upon arrival, resulting in significant delays (up to 21 days). Because your package cannot be tracked, it cannot be assumed to be lost, and therefore replaced, for at least 21 days. USPS shipping rates displayed in our store do not include duties, taxes, or fees; you will be responsible for any fees due when your package arrives.
- UPS Worldwide Expedited: After processing, 2-5 business days in transit based on destination. UPS shipping rates displayed in our store do not include duties, taxes, or fees; you will be responsible for any fees due when your package arrives.
NOTE: We do not offer replacements or refunds for items that are reported missing IF the shipper is able to show confirmation that the package was delivered into your country's mail service and your country's mail system also shows that the package was delivered. Orders are placed at your own risk.
