This workbook is designed for students of canine behavior, and also for those who want to fine-tune their observational skills.

Following on from the mighty Dogs In Translation, which features the full range of dogs' expressions, communication signals, and behaviors in different situations, the authors provide the opportunity for readers to test their skills in picking up those all-important, minute details.

A series of scenarios are presented, with photo sequences. Readers are asked to describe what is going on, and what happed next. Answers and explanations are at the back of the book.

There are no points awarded for getting the answers "right" or "wrong." This is all about honing awareness and observational skills so that interpretation becomes instantaneous and automatic—the ultimate goal for all those who care about dogs.
