Each lesson in this class progressively builds the skills needed to teach your dog a successful running dogwalk and A-frame. Jordan uses a mat work method, focusing on teaching obstacle commitment after the dogwalk while creating and maintaining the mat criteria. The class starts with creating value for the mat and understanding of the task. That understanding is then moved to a plank and gradually built into a complete dogwalk performance as well as A-frame performance.

Training and adding verbals for dogwalk exits (go straight, collect, turn away) is also covered as well as some obstacle sequencing.

You can start this self-study lesson whenever you like. It includes 6 lessons that you can compete at your own pace. There are no fixed deadlines or due dates.

Prerequisites

Your dog must be at least 10 months old.

He must be able to drive to a jump wing without help or handler motion, understand how to independently move his rear feet for a reward, and have been introduced to the Treat & Train. (These skills are taught in Jordan's Fantastic Foundations for Running Contacts course.)

• Treat & Train (formerly MannersMinder)

• Yoga mat

• 12 ft. plank

• Jump wing

• Adjustable dogwalk

• The final lesson uses a tunnel and jumps, but the lesson can be modified as necessary

• The initial lessons with a plank don't require much space, but when the dogwalk is introduced, you'll need about 20 ft. off each exit

How do I access my Learning Center purchase?

After you complete your purchase using your credit card or PayPal, you will receive 2 email confirmations: the first is a receipt acknowledging that your order has been received and the second email contains the link for your Clean Run Learning Center program. Just click on the link in the email to complete enrollment. If you already have a Learning Center account, then you will go directly to your educational program. If you do not, then you will enter your email address and a password to use for this Learning Center program and any future ones your purchase. Please be aware that this is a separate account you are establishing on https://cleanrunonline.com/home and it is not the same as your Clean Run website account (although you can use the same email and password for both accounts). 

If you have a Clean Run website account, then you can also access your program at anytime by signing in at cleanrun.com and selecting Classes/Webinars from the My Account menu.
