With its unique shape and flattened base, the FitPAWS Trax Donut offers stability and versatility during training. As you teach your dog to stand, sit, lie down, and side-step on the Donut, the subtle movement under your dog constantly shifts their center of gravity, causing their core and limb muscles to engage and strengthen. By strengthening your dog's entire core muscle chain, you are increasing their mobility and agility, while reducing their chance of injury.

The Trax Donut is also excellent for doing weight-bearing exercises with either your dog's front legs or their rear legs on the Donut and the opposite legs on the ground or another fitness prop.

The special Trax surface is designed for dogs and provides superior grip and stability as well as neurosensory stimulation.

  • Superior gripping
  • Heavy-duty dog design resists punctures
  • FREE air pump included

When inflated, the Trax Donut is approximately 24" in diameter and 14" high.

Packaging: The FitPAWS Donut is shipped uninflated. An air pump is included in the package. Click here for inflation instructions.

Small Dogs

If your dog's natural stance (from front feet to back feet) measures 16" (40.5 cm) or less, you can use the Trax Donut for core training. Your dog should be able to stand on top of the Trax Donut in a natural stance without being hunched over.

Medium to Large Dogs

If your dog's natural stance is more than 16", you can use the Trax Donut with two feet on the ground and two feet on the Donut for weight-bearing exercises. Your dog can also do exercises while sitting on the Donut. You can use two Trax Donuts for core training (front legs on one and back legs on the other), or combine the Donut with other FitPAWS products. The goal is to maintain a neutral spine when your dog is standing on balance props.

First, inflate the donut until it's firm. Next, let it rest for 12-24 hours so the material can stretch, and then fill it all the way.

At full inflation, the Donut has less dynamic movement and so is less challenging for your dog. To increase the balance challenge, remove air slightly so that the Donut has more dynamic movement.
