What do we want our dogs to learn about jumping? What do they naturally offer? How do we get the ultimate performance in the most efficient way?

In this class, a drill or exercise is a series of obstacles specifically designed to elicit a particular jumping style. Appropriate drills help teach your dog the mechanics of good jumping form.

The class starts with diagnostic exercises to determine your dog's jumping skill strengths and weaknesses. Building on that information, challenges of extension and collection along with transitions between the two are introduced. While the concepts are the same for all, how to "explain" them to the dog depends on the individual.

Learning what to look for and how to create drills that help your dog physically understand how to accomplish the desired jumping behavior is the goal.

You can start this self-study course whenever you like. It includes 7 lessons that you can complete at your own pace. There are no fixed deadlines or due dates.
