I have a VERY active Catahoula who wants to constantly play fetch. This is such a win-win for both of us! The handle allows me to not touch the ball with her saliva LOL, and it also allows me to throw it much further than if it was just a ball. She likes to bite down hard on balls before she gives them back; the squeaker no longer works but this toy has lasted for THREE years so far!! Great price for a unique ball.
One tug and the handle ripped out

To connect handle and ball, the handle is looped only through a small part of the ball. One tug with a German shepherd and the handle detached, leaving a rip in the ball where the handle had been.
