Nice mat but not for dogs that dig/scratch their beds!

I really want to love this mat - the cushion is great and it stays put on slippery floors. I thought it would be more sturdy than it turned out to be. Sadly, my puppy is a digger and he shredded the foam immediately. It would have been great for my previous dogs, but just not the right product for my current pup,
