It is difficult to ensure accurate spacing and even channel distance with this device.

The stakes can be hard to find. They are in a pocket that is part of the inside of the carry bag. If they are not there, then just contact customer service and we're happy to send you some. We recommend staking the base to keep your channel in place when you're using this set of poles. If your dog is really pushing the poles around then we recommend the Handler's Choice weave poles which have heavier bases. We do include this information in the product description to try to help people choose the best product for their needs.
