I bought this toy to use with my 72 year old husband and his 10 month old Norfolk Terrier puppy to help the puppy get over his fear of leashes, encourage tugging and to reinforce come. It worked. Buster fell in love with it on the second time he saw it and his Dad likes it too. So he carries it in his pocket. The length is great, no one gets accidently nipped. The bungee and handle help with arthritic hands.
