Class has started, but it's not too late to join in! You will be able to see all of the lessons regardless of when you enroll.

Amanda Jones has designed this course for young dogs that have some agility foundation training, older dogs that need their turning skills sharpened up, and handlers who want to improve their timing and execution of crosses and turns.

The course will teach you and your dog the fundamental turns that most agility handlers use while running courses. Amanda Jones breaks down the dog skills required for each turn as well as what you need to understand to execute each cross successfully. Your team will learn how to perform

  • Front crosses
  • Rear crosses
  • Blind crosses
  • Whiskey crosses
  • Tandem turns
  • Lap turns

Everyone gets to work their dog in this class; there's no extra cost for posting videos!

Note: The first lesson of the class covers foundation work to make sure your dog can go forward without you moving, go around a wing, stay committed to an obstacle, etc. This material repeats concepts from Amanda Jones's Super Puppy course. If you have already taken that course, we offer a 20% discount on this course. Please contact customer service for information on how to get the discount.

  • Toy (used as a target and to reward the dog for returning to the handler
  • At least 3 standalone wings (you can substitute a chair, stool, trash can, or similar object

The exercises can be done in a small backyard.

"This is the first course I've taken through Clean Run, and I am thoroughly enjoying it. I appreciate how each week's exercise is broken down into small, doable pieces. The instructions are clear, and the video demos are excellent. I have really struggled with rear crosses with my young, fast spaniel, and this week I was able to do a perfect rear cross on a jumpers course with her. Thank you! I have recommended this course to others, and will look for more Clean Run courses in the future."  —Kathy
