DVD Formats

NTSC Format

All of the DVDs we sell are formatted in NTSC video. You should be able to play them in DVD players and computers throughout the world. However, your television or monitor must be capable of displaying NTSC video. If it's not, then your DVD player must be one that's capable of converting NTSC to PAL so that you can view the video on your television or monitor.

 

Regional Coding

The DVDs that we sell are encoded so that they support ALL of the following region codes:

  • Region 1—Bermuda, Canada, U.S., U.S. territories
  • Region 2—Middle East, Western Europe, Central Europe, Egypt, French overseas territories, Greenland, Japan, Lesotho, South Africa, and Swaziland
  • Region 3—Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, Macau, South Korea, and Taiwan
  • Region 4—Australia, New Zealand, Central America, the Caribbean, Mexico, Oceania, South America
  • Region 5—The rest of Africa, the former Soviet Union, the Indian subcontinent, Mongolia, North Korea
  • Region 6—Mainland China
  • Region 8—International venues such as aircraft, cruise ships, etc
