Worked twice then quit

The first time I used this, it worked great. Being as I got it in winter, I don't have a chance to use it much with all the snow on the ground! The second time I pulled it out to use on my small inside space,I couldn't get it to pair. After about a half an hour it finally connected. I had checked the batteries and they were fully charged, it just didn't want to connect. The third time I pulled it out, same thing. It would not pair and I never got it to. Once again, I checked batteries, even changed them to see if that helped. No success. What a disappointment.
