I ordered an XL, which is my normal size. I did the measurements through the chart and it seemed like it would fit. The sizing is very off. I would say an XL is more like a 3XL. I was drowning in the vest.

This is an awesome vest with many great features . I followed the size guide for ordering . They were out of the size I wanted so went up a size . This vest will fit nicely over winter layers ! I will order another when the smaller size is Re stocked ! Great design , no colour options …

Bought this for Tracking\Trailing. I usually wear a Large so I bought a Small and it fit well. The vest is very warm and waterproof. Does not "breath" except that it is ventilated through the arm holes. Great for cold Fall, Winter, and Early Spring days but when it starts warming up? Forget it. All the pockets are wonderful. It is a well made piece of clothing.

I love this vest. I purchased the Hurtta one, and while the design and construction were good and it's super rugged, I found the material to be hot and not breathable.It made me sweaty in hot weather and clammy in cold weather. I'd tried on other Euro-type IPO vests and they were always shapeless and billowy and got in the way. I took a chance on this one out of desperation, and I'm *so* glad I did. Depending on your body shape, you might want to size for your hips/butt rather than your chest. It has a two-way zipper so you can zip up from the bottom to give yourself more room if necessary, though. The pockets are great, the material is light and breathable, and while it doesn't feel as tough as the Hurtta one, it has held up remarkably well. Hair doesn't stick and the drawstring at the waist gives it a nice shape and lets it work without billowing over summer tees and winter layers. I ordered my usual men's/unisex size and found it fairly true to size in terms of four-season utility outerwear. If I were *only* wearing it over summer clothes I could have gotten away with sizing down. I'd buy another in a lighter color for wearing in the sun in a heartbeat, if available.

I used this vest for caring my leash in the back pockets when agility trials were running during the pandemic. Venues started allowing us to carry our leash on us while running our dogs. This vest made it easy. I do wish there were other colors as I'd like to get another one. Purple would be a nice color for this vest.
